Pour 4 Personnes

Ingrediënten Tomansaus

2 kg Fresh tomatoes, peeled into pieces
1 can Tomato chunks
1/4 Turnip celery / Celeriac
1 Onion, large
2 Carrots, large
1 Pointed bell pepper
Pepper and Salt
Laurel
1 snuifje Thyme
Italian herbs

--- The meatballs---

600 g mixed minced meat
Sun-dried tomatoes
1 Shallot
Pepper and Salt

Meat balls in tomato sauce granddad Instructions

  1. Cut everything very fine and stew in some butter or olive oil.
  2. Add a box of peeled tomatoes.
  3. Add pepper, salt, bay leaf, thyme and Italian herbs and let it simmer.
  4. Make small balls, season to taste (shallot, dry tomato and mix).
  5. Add the meatballs to the sauce and leave to simmer.
  6. Serve with Belgian Fries.
